This is the section where I have to write things about myself and the more I thought about it, the less I had to say. I thought that I would rather tell you what’s in my heart: I grew up in a pastor’s house. He wasn’t just a great pastor, but a great dad. My mother is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is kind and just wonderful, but what I remember most about my dad (who has gone to heaven), and what I still see in my mom is the hunger they had, and she still has for revival.
I grew up seeing the power of God in ways that I can’t even explain at times. I’ve seen things that you only read about in books and ever since I can remember, I have had a passion to see the power of God move in the church. My hearts cry is the same as King David’s and it’s the prayer that I daily pray: Ps. 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
I want to see the church functioning in the glory given to her. I want to see Jesus magnified and glorified. I want to see the lost saved, the sick healed and the broken restored. I might be “dreaming” in the eyes of many, but I still believe in the God Who does the impossible. This is our vision and our cry: we want to reflect Jesus and we want to see His glory. So, I wish to welcome you to the most exciting time ever. This will again be like the times of the Bible. We will see His glory; we will be victorious; we will reflect His glory.
